To search on a wildcard

A wildcard is a symbol used to represent any letter or number when building a search. Search Party uses an asterisk (*) as a wildcard character. Wildcards are useful if you are unsure of the exact criteria you'd like to use for a search.

For example, you know a person's job title is "teacher." Instead of typing "teacher" in the Search Dialog box, type T*. Typing T* displays every job title that starts with the letter "T." You can then sort through the list and find the closest match to what you are looking for. You can also simply select a search option such as E-Mail, type "*", click Enter, and then click Find Now. This search will display every person in the directory with an e-mail address.
